F-22 Raptor Current Press Coverage

Lt. Col. Mike "BOK" Schaner, a pilot assigned to the 149th Fighter Squadron, Virginia Air National Guard (VANG), Langley AFB, reached a significant milestone on Dec. 7 when he achieved 1,000 flying hours in the F-22 Raptor. Lt. Col. Schaner is just the third Raptor pilot to achieve this milestone.

On hand for the occasion were Brigadier General Zane Johnson (Assist Adjutant General, VANG), 192nd Fighter Wing and 149th Fighter Squadron senior leadership, the Lockheed Martin Langley Site Manager, and members of BOK's family.

Representing the Lockheed Martin/Boeing contractor team, the Langley Site Manager presented Lt. Col. Schaner with a plaque on behalf of the team to commemorate the occasion.
